About Lelobu Safaris

Lelobu Safaris is an African safari travel agency, founded in 2015, with a team that brings more than 20 years of combined safari experience. We started in Maun, Botswana, on the edge of the Okavango Delta, and today we also plan Kruger safaris from our office in South Africa. Every trip is arranged directly by our own team. As a local travel agency we book directly with the lodges and operators themselves, never through third-party companies, which keeps our knowledge first-hand and up to date and supports local businesses directly.

Our Story

Lelobu Safaris began in 2015 with a simple idea: travellers deserve honest advice and fair prices from people who live and work in the places they sell. Our team had already spent years in the safari industry before Lelobu opened, and together we now bring more than 20 years of experience to every trip we plan. What started as a Botswana safari specialist has grown to cover Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Our Kruger Safari Packages are run by our South African office, which brings the same way of working to the Kruger National Park area, as well as Cape Town and the surrounding winelands. You deal directly with the people who plan and support your trip, in your time zone and on the ground.
